FMLS League Rules (FIFA)

FMLS League Rules (FIFA MLS 1v1)

FMLS League Rules

Introduction

The rules are based on fair play and respect for each other. Each owner will show respect for your opponents and respect for the "beautiful game". Owners are expected to uphold principals of sportsmanship and fair play at all times and will refrain from running up the score. Communication will be polite and the use of offensive or abusive language will not be tolerated. Each owner will play fairly without the use of known glitches or cheats. Non-sportsmanship like behavior could result in your removal from the league. Head sets are required during game play. If owners continue to apply pressure with a large lead and "run up the score" against opponents it will lead to your removal from the league. We are a "Sim-style" league based on fair play and SPORTSMANSHIP above all else.

Scheduling Games

All games must be played in order. Any game played in advance without prior consent of the league commissioner will be voided and re-played. Scheduling games can be done using the Schedule Center threads in the forums. This is very important.  We use the scheduling thread to determine if scheduling communication is done. Using Xbox LIVE exclusively to schedule games is not acceptable. You must post in the contact thread to show that you are making an effort to schedule games. Again, very important! If you are having difficulties scheduling a game let me know. If you will be unavailable for a period of time you must PM the commissioner and post in the contact thread so your opponents are aware. Communication is very important.

Season Schedules

We will have 2 divisions of 7 teams.  You will play division opponents twice (in same week) and non-division opponents once for a total of a 19 game season.

Weeks will run from Friday to Sunday (10 days).

Playoffs

Top 4 teams from each division will move on to the playoffs.

Feedback Reports

We will be using the Feedback Reports to give feedback rating to help the admins see who is keeping up with their league responsibilities.

There are 3 areas to leave feedback ratings: scheduling, communication, and sportsmanship.  The three ratings are: Good, Neutral, and Negative.  Use the reason section to leave any additional comments that you would like to say.  Any negative or neutral feedback MUST have comments in the reason section explaining.

Failure to do Feedback Reports may result in Yellow/Red Card Policy.

Reports are due within 24 hours of week deadline.

To access the Feedback Reports click the League Forms link in the League Menu.

Deadline Missed Report (DMR)

Those that do not complete games by the deadline must submit a Deadline Missed Report (DMR) no later than 24 hours after the deadline has passed. Those that have not made attempts to schedule games may be given a Yellow Card disciplinary warning by the league commissioner.

To access the Deadline Missed Report click the League Forms link in the League Menu.

Yellow/Red Card Policy & Disciplinary Actions

Accumulate 3 yellow cards and you will be given a Red Card league infraction and removed from the league. If you receive two consecutive yellow cards you will given a red card league infraction and removed from the league.

Premier Gaming Leagues reserves the right to remove owners immediately if a situation warrants such action.

If a margin of victory of over 5 goals is achieved you are subject to a yellow card investigation.

Anyone caught cheating will be removed immediately from the League and ALL PGL leagues.

Team Statistics

The Team Owner for the WINNER of the game will enter the score via the Fixtures/Results link on the league menu. Next to the date in the header is a button. Click on the button and a new screen will open that displays the game to be edited. Simply enter the scores for both teams in the boxes on the right and click save.

Individual Statistics

Each owner will record the following team statistics for your club:

Shots on Target
Possession
Yellow/Red Cards

Disconnect Rule

If two teams get disconnected during a match the following rules will apply;

If disconnect occurs in the 1st half – restart the game from the beginning unless the disconnect occurs after the 40th minute. If the disconnect occurs after the 40th minute play just one half and carry over the score from the first half disconnect.

If the disconnect occurs in the 2nd half – restart the 2nd half unless the disconnect occurs after the 85th minute. If the disconnect occurs after the 85th minute the score at the time of disconnect will be the final score
